IT'S A DO-OVER!!!
Last month I was scheduled to do an artist talk & demo for my friends and colleages at The Savannah Art Association but had to cancel at the last minute because the gas pump went out suddenly in my truck....I was pretty heartbroken myself!! ...and disappointed ....and embarrassed ....not to mention really really PO'ed.....ggggrrrrrrr....
ANYWAY....
My fabulous friend, Darla Elam, sent me this wonderful email with a gorgeous attachment below....THANK YOU, DARLA!! YOU ROCK, WOMAN!!!!
"For those who were heartbroken that Ruth Hunter couldn't make it to last month's meeting due to unanticipated car problems, you will be delighted that we have rescheduled her for this month! Don't miss this October 22nd meeting. (See attachment.) Not only will you be blown away by Ruth's work, you can join us for a sort of historic moment!
You see, the Savannah Art Association which has a history closely linked with the Telfair, will be reconnecting with the prestigious museum whose program directors have so generously allowed us use of the Jepson for some of our meetings and workshops! Yay! Be sure to thank the board members for their diligence to make this happen.
