I supply the watercolor paper....300# rough Arches,
Students need to bring:
a starter box of
CrayPas Expressionist brand Oil Pastels
(Ruth likes these because all the colors have consistent textural properties.)
a sturdy drawing board
clay modeling tools (I will have a small # of tools to pass around but they need to be shared)
Ruth will do a demonstration on different techniques in:
applying color and filling the tooth of the paper
different layering techniques (hand techniques)
scratching off techniques (revealing underlying color) introduction of different tools--such as
clay modeling tools work great...or anything handy
a brief word about intuitive painting/image making
maximum # of students 10.....minimum of 5 @ $69. per student
